Terms of Service

Note: These Terms of Service are provided in Japanese, English, and Korean for reference. The Japanese version is the official governing version. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the Japanese version and any translated versions, the Japanese version shall prevail. Official Japanese Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") define the conditions of use for the services (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by "JunJun - Study SNS" (hereinafter referred to as the "App"). All users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") shall use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

Article 1 (Application)

  1. These Terms shall apply to any and all relationships between the User and the developer of the App relating to the use of the Service.
  2. In addition to these Terms, the App developer may establish various rules and stipulations regarding the use of the Service (hereinafter referred to as "Individual Regulations"). These Individual Regulations, regardless of their name, shall constitute a part of these Terms.
  3. In the event that the provisions of these Terms conflict with the provisions of the Individual Regulations mentioned in the preceding paragraph, the provisions of the Individual Regulations shall prevail unless otherwise specified therein.

Article 2 (Registration for Use)

  1. Anyone wishing to use the Service may do so by agreeing to these Terms and completing the account registration (including anonymous login) by the method specified by the App.
  2. At the time the account registration (including anonymous login) is completed, a use agreement based on these Terms shall be established between the User and the App developer.

Article 3 (Management of Account Information)

  1. Users shall properly manage their account information for the Service (including email addresses and one-time passwords) at their own responsibility.
  2. Under no circumstances may Users transfer or lend their account information to a third party, or share it with a third party.
  3. Users shall bear the responsibility for any damages caused by inadequate management of account information, errors in use, or use by a third party.

Article 4 (Paid Services)

  1. As consideration for the paid portions of the Service, the User shall pay the usage fees separately determined by the App developer and displayed within the App, using the designated payment method (such as App Store or Google Play payment systems).
  2. If a User delays payment of the usage fees, the App developer may suspend the provision of the Service to the User.
  3. The App developer will not refund any usage fees once paid (except where a refund is required by law).

Article 5 (User-Generated Content and Community Standards)

  1. The User represents and warrants to the App developer that they have the lawful right to post or upload any content (text, comments, study time data, etc.; hereinafter referred to as "Posted Content") they share on the Service, and that such content does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
  2. The copyright of the Posted Content remains with the User who posted it. However, the App developer may use (including reproduction, modification, public transmission, etc.) the Posted Content free of charge and on a non-exclusive basis within the scope necessary for the provision, maintenance, improvement, and promotion of the Service.
  3. Zero-Tolerance Policy for Objectionable Content and Abusive Users The Service maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against objectionable content and abusive behavior. Users must not post, upload, or share content that is offensive, defamatory, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, infringing on privacy, or otherwise objectionable, nor engage in any abusive behavior toward other users.
  4. Reporting, Blocking, and 24-Hour Moderation Action Users can report objectionable content and block abusive users using the reporting and blocking features provided within the App. The App developer will review reported content within 24 hours of receipt, promptly remove any content deemed objectionable or in violation of these Terms, and take necessary measures, including suspending or permanently terminating the account of the offending user without prior notice.
  5. If the App developer determines that any Posted Content violates these Terms, the App developer may delete such Posted Content and/or suspend the user's account without prior notice, regardless of whether a report was received.

Article 6 (Prohibited Actions)

In using the Service, Users must not engage in the following acts:

  1. Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals.
  2. Acts related to criminal activities.
  3. Acts that infringe upon copyrights, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights contained in the Service, such as the content of the App.
  4. Acts that destroy or interfere with the functionality of the servers or networks of the App developer, other users, or any other third party.
  5. Acts that may interfere with the operation of the App developer's services.
  6. Acts that cause disadvantage, damage, or discomfort to other users of the Service or other third parties.
  7. Acts of impersonating other users.
  8. Advertising, promotional, solicitation, or business activities on the Service that are not authorized by the App developer.
  9. Acts related to the App developer's services that directly or indirectly provide benefits to anti-social forces.
  10. Other acts that the App developer deems inappropriate.

Article 7 (Suspension of the Provision of the Service, etc.)

  1. The App developer may suspend or interrupt the provision of all or part of the Service without prior notice to the User if the App developer determines that any of the following events exists:
    1. When performing maintenance, inspection, or updating of computer systems relating to the Service.
    2. When the provision of the Service becomes difficult due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning strikes, fires, power outages, or natural disasters.
    3. When computers or communication lines, etc., stop due to an accident.
    4. When the App developer otherwise determines that the provision of the Service is difficult.
  2. The App developer shall not be liable for any disadvantage or damage suffered by the User or any third party as a result of the suspension or interruption of the provision of the Service.

Article 8 (Usage Restrictions and Registration Erasure)

  1. If the User falls under any of the following, the App developer may restrict the User from using all or part of the Service, or erase the User's registration without prior notice:
    1. If the User violates any provision of these Terms.
    2. If there is a default in the payment of fees or other obligations.
    3. If there is no response for a certain period of time to communications from the App developer.
    4. If the App developer otherwise determines that the use of the Service is inappropriate.
  2. The App developer shall not be liable for any damage caused to the User by actions taken by the App developer pursuant to this Article.

Article 9 (Withdrawal)

Users may withdraw from the Service using the withdrawal procedure provided within the App.

Article 10 (Disclaimer of Warranty and Exemption from Liability)

  1. The App developer does not guarantee, either expressly or implicitly, that the Service is free from factual or legal defects (including defects, errors, bugs, or rights infringements relating to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, validity, fitness for a particular purpose, security, etc.).
  2. The App developer shall not be liable for any damages caused to the User arising out of or in connection with the Service.
  3. If the User transitions to an external website from a link posted on the App (including affiliate links or posts by other users), the App developer shall not take any responsibility for the information, services, etc., provided on the destination site.
  4. The App developer shall not take any responsibility for transactions, communications, or disputes occurring between the User and other users or third parties in relation to the Service.
  5. The App developer shall not be liable for any loss or corruption of data saved by the User in the Service (including Posted Content such as study time and comments), even if such loss or corruption occurs.

Article 11 (Changes to Service Content, etc.)

The App developer may change, add, or abolish the contents of the Service with prior notice to the User, and the User shall consent to this.

Article 12 (Changes to Terms of Service)

  1. The App developer may amend these Terms without requiring the individual consent of the User in the following cases:
    1. When the amendment to the Terms conforms to the general interests of the Users.
    2. When the amendment to the Terms is not contrary to the purpose of using the Service, and is reasonable in light of the necessity of the amendment, the appropriateness of the amended contents, and other circumstances pertaining to the amendment.
  2. When amending these Terms pursuant to the preceding paragraph, the App developer will notify Users in advance of the fact that the Terms are being amended, the contents of the amended Terms, and the effective date of the amendment.

Article 13 (Handling of Personal Information)

Personal information and other data acquired through the use of the Service shall be handled appropriately in accordance with the "Privacy Policy" separately established by the App.

Article 14 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. The interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
  2. In the event of a dispute relating to the Service, the District Court (or Summary Court) having jurisdiction over the location of the App developer shall be the court of exclusive agreed jurisdiction in the first instance.
